Default BAIC members going to SEMA caravan???

Okay let's get a list of who is going, from what cities, what dates, and hotels we are staying at so we can try and organize a caravan to meet up with the SCIC members who may be going.

City: Manteca or Sacramento

Dates: Nov 1- Nov 3

Hotel: Circus Circus

Simon (www.imprezawrx.org) is organizing some events for the 2nd and 3rd like an autoX, rallyX, show, etc.

Please post or if you need to get registered at www.sema.org and there are posts stuck in the SCIC and SWIC for hotel infor and who's going info.

Hmm... I may be interested in going, but until I get a job out here, money is a little tight. I would be coming from the San Jose area. I'll keep ya updated.

I am 95% sure I will be going. I've already made some plans with my friend (non-Subaru ) but I think it would be cool to caravan down if I can get the timing right. I would be leaving from Auburn (Sac). Not sure about the dates. I'll contact my friend to find out more.

I ordered the SEMA tickets a few months ago so thats set

I'll be leaving San Jose Friday November 1st and leaving Vegas on Monday the 5th. Staying at Terribles, it's new, it's cheap and it's "only" a block off the strip.

Doh! Looks my non-Subaru-bro has flaked on me. His girlfriend was going to go with the company she worked for. He was going to go with her. She's not going anymore, so he's not going anymore, so I'm not going anymore. I'd rather wait until next year than go by myself.

Crap! I was so looking forward to this...

Even though my friend has flaked on me I am still going to try and make it. Trying to make plans right now. Got a few questions.

First, why is the Subaru meet lasting two days after the SEMA show? Is this all bro down/autox/rallyx time?

Is it best to get a room somewhere "really close" to the SEMA show? Is it okay to drive a while? 3 Miles? 10 Miles?

Any other single dudes out there going who want to share a room to cut down costs?

Thats it for now.

Scott at least get registered as it's only $10 but goes up to $40 after the 21st. As far as rooms it really doesn't matter but you have to pay parking if you want to park near the convention center (of course you get plenty of porno err. ... ummm I mean massage buisness cards parked there). I am staying of course at the Circus Circus which is relatively close to the convention center. Better hurry as room rates are rising too. Just drag Kosta with you heck he only has an art class on Friday .

MPREZYA - I hear ya on the porn thing. It's funny you mentioned that, cause it just reminded me. Last year, I grabed one of the cards off my window sill and had another one fall into the door. I'm sure I'll be reminded of it again if I ever take my door panel off...

Yeah. I registered last night using my work info. I'm trying to get Steve to go... I told him Blue Man Group is playing at the Luxor and I think that might have sold him. He was suppose to find out about missing school today so we'll see... I'm going to hit up my friend Ian (has Silver OBS) also. I think I might just register a two bed room and just plan on having somebody else show. And even if more than one person comes along... I'm not above sleeping on a cot (or floor)!

Rockin'

Looks like I will be going, but I have yet to figure out what exact schedule I will be following..... The only thing I do know for sure is I will be leaving from Modesto, not the Bay Area, so if you guys have any idea what path you would be taking, and what times you were thinking of leaving, I could see if we could meet up along the way.

If everyone could please post dates/times when your planning on heading down so we can get this arranged as I am also going to try and setup a meeting with the SCIC members who are planning on going. My info is up top and it is looking like I will be leaving from Manteca area.
