Default Wanna know what 32 PSI of boost @ 9000 RPM sounds like?

... then you'd better check out this video:

1133 AWHP @ 8900 RPM

Do a right-click Save As (about 10 MB), turn up those speakers, and enjoy.

Gee, I wonder what flywheel HP that is?

This was a couple of Sunday's ago at my sponsor's shop - Dieman Motorsports.

EDIT: Opps, I've been corrected - that pull went up to 9600 RPM.

Is that an intercooler or an industrial-sized air condenser?

... the blokes down under make some serious power, but this car happens to be on US soil, street legal, and the most powerful Skyline in North America.

...a pig that flys through the quarter (est) in high 8s.

(EDIT: Oh and yes, it still weighs less than your Audi...)

High 8s? That would be interesting. It takes a lot more than just horsepower to get into the 8s.

True. AWD and four drag radials helps.

That's usually a disadvantage to running 8s.

Whoa there! I'm not saying it can't be done. It's just a lot harder with AWD and radials than RWD and slicks. AWD has more frictional loses, higher rolling resistance, more rotating mass and a tendency to lose some traction with all 4 wheels. It requires a lot of chassis tweaking and attention to areodynamics.
