Default Where to buy shorts (locally) during the winter??

I am going to the bahamas jan 4th-11th and I'm trying to get a few new pairs of shorts for down there... JC penny's and Hechts have given me pretty odd looks when asking for shorts, so I was wondering if anyone had any local stores they might have seen them in....
This is a crossover from OT, but I figured it might work in here for people who don't visit the OT and can give me places that I can actually go to locally, as this is pretty important (I dont wanna be wearing pants in 80 degree weather!)

surf shop? There's a Quicksilver at the Leesburg Outlets. You could give them a call.

Or start a new post...

My wife and I had the same proplem last year when we went to Charlotte, NC and I forgot my trunks. I couldn't resist the hotels hot tub so I went out to look for shorts. Stores like Pacific Sun and Wavedancer should have them but they are (cha ching $$$). Luckily, there was a department store down there that had some cheap ones.
As for where to get them in MD. Try Arundel Mills mall, they have a Pacific Sun and Towson Town Center, they have Wave Dancer.
Good luck!
Paul

I had the same problem last year when I went on a cruise in January. I finally found some on a clearance rack at some department store. They didn't have much, but everything was really cheap. A store like Kohls is probably your best bet, they ussually have a lot of clearance stuff.

I have this problem every time I go to see my bro in Argentina. When it's 90F there, it's 15F here. Online seems to be the best bet, although REI usually has good stuff on the clearance rack this time of year too.
