One thing I'll say is their parking lot is a pretty rough surface, Im not sure if it will be at the store or where they test the tires.

I was there a couple weeks ago to get my Kunho's installed and they had the three test cars parked outside the big door to the shop, 3 matching bimmers, with tires that were completely abused

Its quite a haul to go there, it was a longer drive than I had remembered it to be.

I'll try and do the local ones, but with 11,000 miles already, I gotta park this rig heheheh

Yeah, it is on the test lot.

I know, my mileage is going up really quick, probably averaging about 18k/year right now. I'm going to have to get a winter car just to keep decent mileage on my car. LOL

Wimp! It is a mere 120.0 miles from my house (O'hare) to Tire Rack Indiana!!!

120.0 miles, 2 hours 22 min, 13 turns (Fastest Route) as calculated by Maps on Us.

It would suck if I had to have the car towed back though...

Where was that list again? I lost the URL and it had the links to the different clubs at the bottom of it.

I know Urbana isn't too far, maybe 2 hours or so... I think Racine is about 1 to 1-1/2 hours. Straight up 94 about halfway between Illinois state line and Milwaukee, right on the lake.

Well the one in Racine is for the Windy City BMW Club - that might be interesting.

The Urbana one is the Champaign County SCC.

Naw forget the BMW Club one, it is for members only...

I guess if we get bored, we can go to Maywood Park on the 21st and heckle the BMW guys. Their event was moved to the Maywood Park lot in Illinois.

I've spent a lot of time in Urbana, and it's more like 3 hours - even with a fast Subie!

Besides, you guys should take up drag racing

I gotta admit, that Wisconsin road rally was KILLER... and I found my papers from it a couple of days ago so I've still got the maps, route description, turn-by-turn and all. Very sweet (and maybe we could avoid attracting the local authorities this time ;0 )

Ohh ohh ohh, we must do a lil scooby runin' followin' that rally...i unfortunatly had to miss it, so it would be my turn to tear it go and bury the needle. Union grove...mmm *droolin*, my brother ran his dakota up there and got 12-ish runs in on last sat. That freak was dippin' into the mid 14's on an almost stock dakota sport. WTF he beat a god dang modded camaro to the 60 ft. mark, and had him up unitll the 1/8th mi. cliked by, and he has just an intake, exhaust and some other goodies. (this is no RT, just a freakin' 4wd 2000 dakota sport, wit cold air induc.) Wow, he said it was f-in great...maybe we should have a meet up there and have a battle of the scubies (i gurantee my loss, i ave a freakin' auto and more toys that weigh my car down. Well, untill i turbo it anyhow. Ohh and anybody want to see a scooby burnout? If so, maybe sun. i will treat you, 'pends on if parental unit decides to come wit or not. And my trunk have no more room, so chairs will be in rear seat of car.

All of the time The 3 tracks in our area are

Byron near Rockford which is open sat and sun at 9am

Union Grove in WI, which is open Fri nights and sat and sun

Route 66 which is the nicest by far but has very limited times for regular people to use it
