Default Speed TV, Sunday, Dec 18 - 2005 International Rally New York

Speed TV advised that the 2005 International Rally New York
will be broadcast on Motorsport Mundial on
Sunday, December 18 at 7:30 AM

The program will be repeated on
Monday, December 19 at 7:30 AM and again at 10:30 AM

Webcast will soon be available from revs.tv

Outside the United States, the program was already broadcast
on ESPN and other channels worldwide

News Update

FYI:

It wasn't on (the Dec 18th braodcast)... but at the end of the episode they said "Rally New York" would be on "next time."

Ivan announced at the Dec. 18th RNY Rallycross driver meeting that it would be delayed a week. True to his word, it was on Christmas morning at 7:30 am, on Speed Channel's "Motorsport Mundial".

It was especially interesting for me because I worked the event and even saw my red 4WD Sentra ice racer parked stageside on stage 16 where I was timing the finish.

Just prior to that scene, event winner Tom Lawless' in car camera shows him negotiating one of six chicanes made up of three sets of gates marked with genuine A.M.E.C. pylons.

I watched it and enjoyed the episode. They did a good job for a 30 minute segment.
