Routine Checks/Maintenance

Other than changing oil and checking tire pressure, what sorts of checks do folks do routinely? How often?

I am trying to take care of things myself except for the 30K services, and I want to make sure I am covering the important things.

go to http://www.licmotorsports.com/306090k.htm and do all those maintenance schedule. Just change the oil every 5k with synethic, 3k with regular engine oil, check tire pressure, check fluids and leaks, and hoses everytime u change your oil. As long as you change the oil..the engine should be running great. The timing belt, sparks plug, and all that o ther stuff can be changed in the schedule mainteance schedule.

30k service go for new spark plugs, tranny/diff fluid, brake fluid, engine oil, clean your air filter, check your brake pads and tire wear, and you could ambitious and flush your radiator and check your timing/drive belts, but i'd just stick to the basics for now.
