Decide if you want cats or not. (lots of threads on this, search for them)

Decide what style muffler you want (single tip, twin tip, canister "jdm" style)

Decide what sound you like. (listen to sound clips, you can find those searching here or ask around yoru local forum to hear actual cars in person.)

once you finish deciding/researching those you should find what you really want, and you will gain some knowledge too.

I would hope so! Cobb stuff is expensive, so it had better be nice.

im megan racing all the way, high quality, less expensive, good sound and stats. i placed the headers up pipe combo one piece rather than separate up pipe, catless belmouth downpipe and megan catback jdm style, cost close to a grand. just order my turbo xs utec system /w map switch (a must) for o5 sti which was highly recommended over cobb tunning by professional tuner out of houston, tx (11+ yrs), suggest not tuning until after you finish exhaust. i also went with injen cold air intake, i like everything so far, once i get the utec system in im driving to houston to dyno/tune, i should be posting the results mid january.

Keep in mind you might end up with boost creep, which is very bad for the engine!!! Put some money aside for porting the turbo or a new turbo.
