Default What's the benefit

of using an external oil catch can? The breather tubes connect back to the intake box anywayz!

Benefit of an oil catch can? Not to have the oil 'blowby' recirculated back into the intake tract. Makes for a cleaner MAF (if you have one) and generally cleaner intake tract. As well, cleaner engine internals I believe. No buildup of sludge.

Default Ah, IC....

So the catch can just need periodic emptying and such eh? Gotta stick a breather filter on it too then!

I'm confused. An oil catch can is different from what you use to collect oil when you change it?

I have these in stock for the S14 Nissan 240SX.

Essentially they are the exact same cannister, for the Subby, the Honda, or the 240SX. Just the mounting bracket may be different.

Nice polished aluminum oil catch cans with nice blue anodized fittings etc.
