Default Modding an ej20 swapped 2.5rs

I just purchased an EJ20 swapped 2000 impreza 2.5rs. I was wondering which mods will bolt up to this application. The seller told me any intake will bolt right in but he isnt sure about the exhaust. (I assume any aftermarket TBE will bolt up because the stock wrx exhaust is on there atm) So does anyone have any info about modding the car in general (powertrain-wise)? Any issues with upgrading the turbo? etc..

Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

For the most part anything that you would do to a WRX you can do to your car.

The only thing you are going to have to worry with is mating a downpipe to an exhaust that fits on the GC8 body. Good Luck, sounds like fun car to drive.

The only difference with the exhaust is the 1 rear muffler hanger.. Which you don't even need to use.. Get the STi hangers or kartboy hangers, and just the front 2 on the muffler will hold it still. The midpipe hanger is in the same spot also as the rs'. So basically any wrx exhaust will work.

WRX exhausts will fit the GC bodies just fine, like I said everything for the most part will work. TMIC's can be a problem though, get a JDM V7 or FMIC and call it a day.

Hmm TMIC's have fitment issues? I was considering getting the cheap ebay one for 260$.. Anything theres to do to make it fit or it just doesnt fit? (4.5" deep)
