Default Need help with this security system..

I have a Viper 791xv just sitting around and really want to install it. Preferably myself, I just don't trust the available manuals. I have skimmed and read through countless threads/sites looking for a decent illustrated writeup of some sort. I know people would be hesitent to show everyone how and where they installed their parts, but I really just want to confirm that I am using the right wires. Does anyone have any info or know of any sites that might have this helpful info?

Any help would be appreciated.

Nick

The Viper Installation Manual that comes with the alarm should be pretty helpful. www.the12volt.com is a good site for alarm stuff. Once you join the site (free), you can access their vehicle wiring database, and ask questions on their forums.

^^^^^ good info,
I'm about to purchase the viper 791xv from a web site.
Will be installing it in myself as well.
nick04263, You'll most likely finished with the installation by the time mine arrives in font of my door. Keep me informed on how it went. Thanks

it's more-so if DEI got sue happy they could go after him for publishing information not to be made readily available to the general public.

falls under the same laws as broadcasting a football game without the specific signed and written consent from blah blah blah

I think the general point is that while individuals are not so likely to be tracked, copyright holders can come and cause legal trouble for the web site. NASIOC is one of the most useful web sites around -- let's not cause unneeded problems for it.
