Default New APR Performance Widebody Kits Available Now !!!!

Hey Everyone,
I'm not sure if you have had a chance to see this thing yet.

Here is some info from APR's Site:

The APR Performance SS/GT (Special Stage/Grand Touring) aerodynamic widebody kit offers traction gains to Impreza WRX and STI owners. The SS/GT aerodynamic kit increases overall body stance by 3.15 inches (80mm). With this increased distance, Impreza owners can now run 18 inch wheels with wheel diameters ranging from 10 to 11 inches and tire diameters up to 295mm to maximize wheel traction.

To enhance increased traction and stability, APR Performance offers additional aerodynamic components such as a front 3 inch carbon fiber wind splitter with front undertray and rear carbon fiber diffuser. Detachable carbon fiber canards are also utilized for front aerodynamic tuning, while the rear adjustable carbon fiber GTC-300 WRX Spec wing, measuring 67 inches (1,700mm) in width and 12 inches (305mm) in height, aids in rear aerodynamic tuning.

This Aerodynamic Kit Includes:
Widebody Front Bumper with Brake/Oil Cooler Vents
Carbon Fiber Wind Splitter and Front Undertray
Carbon Fiber Canards
Widebody Front Fenders (40mm) with Wheel Turbulence Exhaust Ports
Widebody Side Skirt
Widebody Rear Door, Gas Door and Fender Combination (40mm)
Widebody Drag Reduction Rear Bumper
PLEASE NOTE: Formula GT3 Mirrors and GTC-300 WRX Spec Wing are not included with the SS/GT Widebody Kit. Rear carbon fiber diffuser sold separately.

AB-820500 Impreza SS/GT Widebody Aerodynamic Kit
Fits 2004-2005 Impreza WRX and STI $3995 MSRP $3795.25 Including Shipping

Let us know if you have any questions about the kit.

I know this is a general, dependant on region question, but what would this thing cost to have installed and painted? Just curious about a ballpark figure. What have you heard? Really interested.

you'd prob be better off repainting the whole car seeing how 80% of the car would be repainted with the kit. youre better off paying a few hundred more for a color change. (stupid subaru paint)

so look at around $3000 for color change + kit install.

I have no idea on the costs of this kit being installed. I would recomend that you call your local and trusted body shop and get a quote. Im going to guess that most "auto repair shops" would turn down something like this. Sure is sexy though. The pictures dont do justice once you see the cars close up in person.
Let me know if you guys have any other questions
Thanks
Rick

Edit: Im not sure what the offset of the wheels are. I will see if I can get any info regarding that.

Very clean. The canards are still the cheesy

one off generic ones from them, but the rest

of the kit is really nice.

RandomDj - APR has yet to release pricing on the diffuser. It will be intresting to see what kind of pricing they offer on it as it will work with a non-widebody as well.
Please let me know if you have any other questions
thanks

Blackdout- It will be a whole bumper, the diffuser is sold seperatly and it should also fit on the non-widebody STi's as well!
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks

I inquired to my usual shop once about getting my car repainted, he told me probably around 5K to get it done right, meaning engine bay and everything. It ain't cheap, especially if you want it perfect when it's done. I'm sure you can get it done much cheaper, but you'll probably have a lot of imperfections throughout the car.

VMI06WRX04 - The price is 675.00 and Install should be similar to the HKS, although I dont think you will need to do any cutting to clear the exhaust.
Please let me know if you have any other questions
Thanks

2. Will you sell just the fenders, sideskirts, and front n rear bumper?

Jamolie - Correct, the rear bumper will not work without the rear wide fenders.

Caplin 2.5 - I dont think that APR offers individual peices, but I will find out for sure.
Thanks

can someone photoshop this with a white body and the stock wing and mirrors on it?

It looks nice, but the paint and decals all over the car make it look ugly. And based on those pictures, It's hard to tell how wide the car looks.

Is it as wide or wider than the WRC?
