Angry my stage 2 is running horrible!

Greetings.

My 05 WRX is running very slugish, but I am hitting target boost according to my Accessport. How does the Accessport messure boost? Is it accurate? Today I popped my hood to check for leaks at a gas station, and I noticed a small amount of smoke coming from the turbo. It smelled like burnt oil.

Mods:

05 WRX - 5mt - 36k miles - Cobb Accessport running stage 2 91 cal 1.30, helix uppipe, helix downpipe, custom intermidiate pipe, K&N drop in.

The oil is changed every 3k miles with mobil one 5w30.

What is going on with my car?

Thanks for the help!

sounds like you are either VERY rich, or the turbo is dead/about to die

If you had proper gauges you would already know or have a much better idea (thats my way of saying get some gauges so you know whats going on with your car)

Actually it looks like you are saying the smoke was coming off the turbo itself like under the hood
This is a classic symptom of a bad turbo. Blown seals.

How long has the car been on Stage 2? If you just recently installed the parts the burning off could be oil or wd40 if you used it for the bolts. What we're missing here are a few things...

How long has it run like this (sluggish)?
What was the last thing you changed before it started doing this?
Did you remove the turbo to install uppipe? (If so, did you install both of the crush rings on top and below the oil fitting on the banjo bolt?)
Are you sure you're not running some sort of crappy realtime map on top of your base. (Do a reset function on the AP and see how your car behaves after that.)
If you didn't install the AP yourself, are you sure you're on the right map?

Answer those questions and we could probably help a little more.

I did the uppipe/downpipe/intermidiate pipe about 25k miles ago. I flashed stage 2 about 4-6k miles ago.

The car has been running slugish for the past couple of days.

When I did the uppipe, I did not remove the turbo.

I installed the AP myself. I am %100 positive I am on the right map. (base = stage 2 cal 91 v1.30)

I will try the reset function.

thanks.

I hope you're taking off your catless tbe. I can't see a dealer replacing a turbo when you have completely modified the exhaust. Good luck!

My car has been smoking since before I put the catless TBE on, southcoast is warranting it.

Plus, how could an exhaust blow a turbo ? its after the turbo, the turbo just went south and I have noticed alot of 04/05's have been doing the same thing
