so I was driving back to Tulsa from collage, boulder Colorado, for winter break.
After about ˝ (4-5hours) way threw the trip my car did something weird. It lurched… it felt like I took my foot off the gas and then gave it gas really fast… or when someone is learning to drive a clutch and the car does that weird lurch forward…. It only did it a few times. It also would do it under constant throttle… not with the cruise control. I’m assuming it might be something with my electrical system. I’m changing out my battery, Optima, and going to denso 1 step cooler plugs. I'm doing this for general maintenance anyway. Any one recommend a different battery or plug? Any other ideas?

What are you studying in collage?
Seems like this would be more of a fuel problem. Ever change your fuel filter? Things like this are often pretty hard to diagnose until you can reproduce the problem...bummer. |

yea, it might be a fuel problem.
I changed the fuel filter at about 30k, I just hit 70k, i might change it again. I'm about ot upgrade to a vf34, fuel pump, and injectors... might also fix the problem. it's not a recuring problem, so ohh well ohhh, i'm a double major, getting a BS in Buis: managment. and a BFA in photography |
