Default Simple rules for oblivious drivers. Please add your own.

I'm trying to compile a list of VERY simple rules for stupid people who end up behind the wheel of a motor vehicle. Please add your own one-liner dos and don'ts. I'll start. THANKS OT!

A yield sign is not a stop sign.

Do immediately speed up to 65 in the merge lane prior to entering a highway.

Start by driving into a water-barrel barricade, for my amusement.

turn on your headlights when its dark...I don't care if you can see, they can't necessarily see you.

reaim your headlights after an accident, they're blinding me

Your Grand Am in not a sports car

The gas pedal is not an on/off switch

You brake with the same foot as you press the throttle with (I've seen people brake and accelerate away from me )

Unfortunately that doesn't work for jagoffs behind you.

My rule, when you change your mind about making a turn don't assume everyone can read your mind and swerve back into the lane you want to be in. You lost your spot, put on your blinker and get in when you can.

the auto designers need to design a notification light to tell people behind you that their brights are on....

Use your fhucking turn signal.

If you use it and cut me off by all means I will not be nearly as pissed as you not using it and cutting me off. Put in the effort to move your left hand an inch or two.

Don't cruise in the fast lane going the same speed as other lanes. It's the fast lane for a reason. You cruise in it you get your ass ridden like a cheap ho on a saturday night.

Be considerate. It's simple. You're just too dumb to even realize.

The stop line is where it is for a reason. Even if you can't understand why it is placed where it is please just recognize that you're an idiot and stop there anyway.

Unless you're actively passing another vehicle, you should not be in the left lane.

Dont ****ing merge at the last second to avoid the construction cones in our lane. It makes me have a real ****ty time trying to avoid the cones when you leave me 1 second to react, look, and merge..

Red light means stop, green means go. Stop signs are there for a reason. Being 10 feet off my bumper at 60 MPH is a quick trip to a lawsuit.

When steet racing and you get beat, stay humble and beaten.

Why try to prove something by driving beyond your, or your cars, limits?

It's dangerous, wastes fuel, psses people off.

My WRX is pretty loud, and I sometimes forget I turned on a pass signal.

Now my V65 Honda Magma 120 hp has an auto canceling turn signal. It operates on time - + distance traveled + wheel turn, or tilt. Works perfect. Turn on the signal for a lane change and it cancels after about 200yards.

They were joking about Richard Petty's last Daytona 500. Guy said it's time to retire because he went around the last half of the race with his turn signal on.

Another thing is old people turning left into a parking lot. Cutting across traffic. You follow them in because there is a lot of room. Then they come to a complete stop before going up and over the side walk, and they crawl in the lot like they are going to be ambushed. Meanwhile traffic finally starts coming head on as you wait. Ricers in a hurry. lol

You know when yuo make a right hand turn, say into a driveway or side street? You don't have to swing wide left first. Trust me.

If you are driving a minivan, just pull over and wait there until you are dead.

Out here in Oregon minivans and slow RV's drive to the coast to breed. There is no sense in passing. Just follow the slow lumbering stack of cars.

Just because your SUV weighs 2 tons doesn't give you the right to think you own the road. Get off the damn cellphone, signal before you change lanes and look around you.

German Autobahn rules. Keep right unless you are passing. If you are in the fast lane and holding up traffic pay about $10.000. Holding up traffic for any reason big - big fine.

Problems solved.
