Default Tire Size Question

I had my two front tires slashed last night so here is my question. The tires i have on the car are Ventus RS-2 in 225-45-16. Myquestion is if i use the stock re92's on the front in the stock size (205's) would that hurt anything on the car like the diffs etc? Ive heard that running different size wheels and or tires can do this and im looking for further information on this.

Thanks

Your 225s are about an inch shorter. If you had 225/50-16s the size is almost exactly the same as the stock re92s, but your sizes are way off. Bad for your center diff. for sure.
