Thumbs up OLN Reality TV Show - 'Wanted: Ted or Alive'

Aside from the one city slicker pansy boy who cries alot this show is kind of bad ass.
Big-Baby shot a doe, they showed it drop in it's tracks (insta-dead), Ted (Nugent) gutted & skinned it on TV with no break away, and they curse, run around buck naked, and at one point walk around wearing nothing but the skin of deer the contestants had to shoot & skin.

This show is sweet!

It's actually interesting and is less so much Lord Of The Fleas like Survivior and the people actually learn real skills. Oh, and the have some hot chicks with titties participating too.

Check it out if you can...

Black chick was just on competing in an event and commented to the camera that she felt weak becuase she'djust begun her "cycle"!

Crap like this would never make it past the editors on ABC/NBC/CBS.

I'm in the middle of the political spectrum, but dammit I love Uncle Ted! Surviving Nugent = Only good reality show.

Stuff like this makes me think its wierd that I have lived in WV (redneck mecca) my whole life and never been hunting or killed anything bigger than what my BB gun would take down..

Not keen on hunting but love to go shooting, cant figure that one out.

Eh thats not unusual or weird.
Not everybody has the stomach or time to get in to hunting. I mean gutting & skinning crap is pretty gross IMHO I don't even like to do so with fish or chicken.
I too love shooting but have not shot anything larger than small game birds & squirrels although I have been hunting before for deer as a guest to no luck.

As per NRA stats we are in the majority as hunters have been on a steep decline numbers wise over the past qurter century. They are actually fearful of hunters and hunting going extinct in 2050 or so as based on declined equipment sales & license figures. In fact I watched a report about just this on either CNN or 20/20 three weeks ago as in regard to parents teaching small children (9 yr. olds) and up as well as girls to hunt in an effort to spark new interest and staunch the reduction in interest.

I love this show. It's set in our DVR to record all episodes. I watched the whole first season a few weeks back when OLN did a marathon of it. Can't wait for season two, even though I thought it sucked who won season one.

Ah damn!
I didn't see the spitting but they alluded to it in the episode I watched last night as 'coming up next'.
That boy was a major jerk.

Never seen the show, but people watch this stuff?

Shti, if I knew people would eat up this type of programming, I would have gotten a video camara the last time I visited my relatives in the Olde Country when they would take the Easter Lamb and slit it's throat and hang it on a tree to drain all the blood. Or when my fishman uncle would take an octapus and smack it on some concrete acouple of dozen times until it finally would die (I guess them suckers are tough to kill).

I guess the domesticated suburbanites hunger for some rural living.

Hazdaz,

Ted hung the deer from a tree for the skinning which they showed in _graphic_ closeup detail with full on stereo skin rip sound.
It was excellent even though at one point I looked away just after the disembowelment.

that made me cring too....though it was because I had a flashback to watching my uncle gut a deer that had been gut-shot and its stomach was split wide open and STUNK.

I can still smell that..ugh

Meh. The smell is probably the toughest part to take, so until Smell-o-Vision becomes a reality, watching it on TV won't compare to the real deal.

Yeah thats a given.
I've smelled dead busted open animal and human before.
It'll clear your sinuses right the hell on up.

Anyway yes it was TV and thus third person but unlike regular TV survival shows this one is a cut above.

YES! This show rocks. Did you catch the original version on VH1(Surviving Ted Nugent) a year or so ago? Are new episodes still airing on OLN? I thought I had all episodes set to DVR but I havent seen anything come up in a while. Ive seen probably the first 4 or 5 episodes.
