Default Value of 2.5L drivetrain

Hello everybody,

I have been wondering/contemplating an engine/drivetrain swap in my MY00 RS. I just bought a house so this would not be for a few months to get back on track but what would be the value of a complete MY00 2.5RS drivetrain, ecu, diffs, axles, etc.... with 21000kms if I were to sell it after the WRX engine swap. And would there be a demand for it.

Thanks,
Stefan

Wow...just bought a house and it'll only take you a couple months to do an EJ20 swap?

Want to donate your drivetrain to me?

Sorry to bring this back but after being mocked (or unanswered) I thought I would try it again.

I bet if you could find a rally team who was interested maybe they would buy it. Rally teams are always breaking and/or blowing things up!

Something like that usually sells for $2000-$2500 US. Finding a buyer for it might be something else however..........

I might be interested in it but first I have to decide if I'm going to turbo my 2.5 or replace the drivetrain with an STi. I've been told that you can put an STi transmission on the EJ25. A spare block and gearbox would be excellent because I would have spare parts and I'd be able to send parts (ie shortblock off for machining and such without taking the car out of service.
