Default hydra em?

i have a utec now and am pretty sure im ditching it for a hydra

what can i expect with this unit ,will i need to be tuned or is this a self tuning device like i was told?
i find it hard to belive it doenst need tuning

my mods are sz55 w/ 38mm ewg big maf 850cc injectors fmic tbe ect ect

It needs tuning. It has a auto tune mode in it, but I recommend having Phil from Element tuning tune you.

Nothing really 'self-tunes'. The Hydra will alter fuel according to a AFR table. With 32X32 load sites this can be very useful when tuning and tailoring fueling to your car's requirements. Ignition timing is still up to you to tailor, but Phil's got the timing pretty well dialed-in for many set ups.

The Hydra is highly programmable and you can pretty much tune whatever you want.

Phil tuned me and I couldn't be happier I'm going back to him in the next few months to get my new setup tuned.
