Default Thanks to Crazyhorse and Mike

Many thanks to Crazyhorse (TIM), Mike, Chris and Trey for the day long installation of a Cobb downpipe, STI up-pipe and ION springs on my Legacy Gt yesterday. Much of this was done during and around rain storms, but they could have done my and Trey's Bobcat brake pads if they had not taken a pizza break during the lightning storm

May i be the first to say that this thread is worthless without pics....

Congrats on the new parts and the offer still stands if you ever want to trade the legacy for a RS...you know you want to.

Once again, props on the uber sweet parts.

For all those new Legacy owners out there....the lower rear struts bolt were tightened by the 'hands of God'!! I was using the rear sway bar for a brace and pushing on the 19mm combo wrench with ALL my might and we could NOT budge that dang bolt. What got it free was an 'impact' kick to convince the bolt to move. I guess my leg exerts more than 430 ft-lbs of torque...which is what my unsuccessful impact gun is rated at....

Another thing......might I suggest the Helix flex-up pipe for you Legacy GT owners. Just a hint, but I have first hand knowledge that might fit better.

BTW, Dave....hope you like the new mods. Glad we could help out. I'm sure the neighbors were greatly amused when we put up that tent and continued to work in the rain....and dark.....and cold......yeah, I think I'm sick......

Oooo, so I am on the right track! I must tell nice husband I am starting to figure these things out on my own... then start writing letter to Santa for next year!

(this year Santa delivers compact kayak that I can load and unload on my own, so I can go paddle whenever I'd like... no complaints here!)

DOH! She set herself up for that one.

Dave,
Cool to hear about the mods. Now you need an alignment and then we'll see you at the next autox.

Sounds like the Legacy is getting the proper mods it needs. Can't wait to see and hear it at an upcoming event.

I suppose as Biggly said I did set myself up for that... but any husband who'd change Christmas plans at the last minute to drive 1300 miles and help take care of my Dad when he couldn't get out of NY during the transit strike qualifies in my book as a very, very nice husband!

Steven is the best!
