I didn’t realize they were the same… You saying they are?

I can’t take the drone of the full-catless + Apexi N1 can any longer for daily driving. I took a 2hr road trip picking up some gear with the rear seats down and it was absolute torture

I’m looking for a stock STI muffler which I can swap at the axle and use the Apexi for race/track stuff…

I'm pretty sure the 05+ WRXs have the STi muffler, so you should be able to locate one fairly easy.

Yeah, it looks like they are similar however the wrx has a 2.25” input and the sti is 2.5”. I would be coming from 3” strait pipe and reducing down to the muffler input so the sti bottleneck would be more desirable then the wrx bottleneck. If I can’t find an sti muffler reasonable, I’ll expand the search for newer wrx can…

Still looking for local STI muffler…

I ran my STI muffler to a 3". Its still not ideal, but the cops around here are pricks. I have one you can probably have, but Im in Virginia Beach. If you get desperate, LMK.

Give it to me, it's better than my stocker, and can hold me over until I can get the Stromung

So the new WRX mufflers although look like the STi, have a 2.25" input?

I have a stock cat back sitting on my garage floor. I would rather sell it and the stock DP together, but if you make a good offer I will gladly keep the DP on the shelf.

Pretty sure the mid pipe will be a down grade from my 3" TXS one But, I'll take the axleback.

Dropped by Andrewtech today. Andrew's got an STi muffler laying around. He said to contact him next week if you'd like.

wish they were closer also!

It was long enough drive to Hillmuth when Andrew was there. I wish I could get a weekend were he (they) could install the steering rack bushing and maybe install the front swaybar! too far for a week day with work and all!
