Anyone who got the $340 deal from the other vendor want to post pics? Just wondering if it is indeed the exact same kit.

Honestly, I'd pick it up whereever you can find it, even at $440 it is a steal.

I have been trying for three weeks. Maybe because I was a prior customer they don't want to respond in case I have a complaint.

I got my FMIC, had to have pics sent to me. I won't be able to install it til late May though.

My gf said the core is 25w x 9 3/8h x 3 1/2d. No fins were bent, just a lil styrofoam to blow out. I'm really happy with the pics she sent me. The ebay flange and reducer look really good too.

Hey, just got my bumper back on and the core is a bit off center, anyone else have this also? Yes, I know I am the guy on page one of this thread, and have had this for 3 months now and just now putting it all back together . Seems like I took the IC pipes off and on 3-4 times, because they were in the way of other mods I have been working on.
Here is what I have been doing since 10 Dec.:

sz49
oil catch can
TruboXS FMIC
Perrin turbo intake
Perrin Big MAF
Perrin crank pully
Perrin uppipe
PE 850cc injectors
255lpm fuel pump
TGV delets
Phenolic Spacers
p&p exhaust manifold
TBE -catless
Apexi AVC-R
HKS turbo timer
AP
SMC kit (won't be running untill I get tuned though)
1.3bar Rad. caps
WORX BOV
slotted/crossdrilled rotors F & R
Hawk pads
ss brake lines
Rota G-FORCE 17x8" rims
Falken Azenis RT-615 255 40 17 tires

Now just waiting for the turbo to come back from DeadBolt to finish, and get tuned !

I don't want to state the obvious, but it's a well know fact that the TXIS FMIC's had the off-center problem, not to mention this thread is about the XSPower FMIC.

And the FMIC from this thread sits perfectly centered.

See post #224...
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...&postcount=224

Also, the bottom mounting holes are slotted. If you back the bolts out a bit, you can move the core either way. There is plenty of room to move it offcenter by about an inch in either direction. You may have to loosen some of the IC hoses slightly as well, but still, should be pretty easy.

I have the XS Power FMIC, if you rember we had a few PM back and forth back when we did the left over "Group Buy" in December. The only reason I put TurboXS isn't to snaz it up, but rather they are both about the same, and most people don't know what a XS Power FMIC is.

Mine is adjusted all it can be, and is about 1.5" off center, so no they don't all sit perfectly centered .

Is this the one everyone is talking about. Is it worth the money, or is it just a POS?

I don't think you can blame the kit of you are running a hybrid FMIC setup. I haven't seen anyone in either of these threads complain about or post pics of a crooked FMIC. You are using a core that is known to be crooked and complain. I don't get it.

I don't want to start a Flame war, but you did contradict your self.

Lets keep this thread from getting closed like the last one and keep it to the facts, questions, and contact info for purchasing the XSPower FMIC.

SolidSnake,
If it's still not centered, measure how much room you need, remove the support beam, and either lengthen the slot or drill a hole past the slots that would center the core properly.

Has anyone actually dynoed with one of these with a bigger turbo? I know Hayaboosted has a 20G but I just saw a mention that he hit 300 whp and that doesn't mean much considering all of the variables betweend dynos, etc.

I've got a green and I'm simply blowing too much hot air and overpowering my Helix TMIC.

Frank, everything is adjusted all it can be, but it's ok I got some black mesh so it's not so noticeable.

I will be getting dynoed hopefully this weekend with my new sz49 + SMC Meth., and all supporting mods, so i'll let you know .

I meant to actually cut the slot longer or redrill a hole for the bolts since obiously yours is off even though it's maxed out in the amount of adjusment you can do. But you fixed it anyway.

Let us know the results since your setup will be virtually the same as mine green/sz49 and alky.

I took this to mean you put a TXS core on your car with XSPower piping. The TXS is known to be crooked. You and I are talking about two different things.

But yeah, you are the first to have alignment problems. The bottom bolts don't have any left-to-right play. I'm gonna point at a defect. I would just drill out the lower brackets. How does the upper holes line up?
