I just bid on the turbo xs-power/ssautochrome tmic. These intercoolers are crazy cheap and sound like they work just as good as anything. I guess you really pay for the brand when you buy a turboxs or aps.

Did you win an auction or contact ssautochrome for a "deal".

The FMIC seems to fit all the models (a few posts up someone with an '06 is installing one).

If you're asking about the TMIC, I am not sure what other hardware is needed with it, but it should fit your Saabaru.

I had an APS TMIC, which I liked, but the FMIC is IMHO the way to go to make power (and this one costs less than half what I paid for my APS TMIC).

I won an auction. The FMIC arrived and it's beautiful. I'm waiting on a few more parts before I do the install.

You know... I was wondering the same thing... It looks like a bracket is supposed to be there? Its right about where the stock IC bracket would sit... There isn't a replacement bracket with the kit?

I just installed the same black mesh grill, that I bought off Ebay for $10+shipping. It was really easy to install it, just zip ties to the inside of bumper, and I think it looks great .

I have a appointment at Top Speed on the 28th with Doug to get tuned; I am still waiting for him to email me a start up map for my AP so I can drive there though . I will post #'s and some pic's when I get the chance to.

I used a belt sander to smooth out the rough cuts, and it worked great to trim the bumper to get around the IC piping, just FYI...

Also, in the pic above, don't trim as much bumper as he did, you don't want the air to go around the IC, you want it to be canaled through it.

My progress so far...

I still have to attach all of the piping under the hood and finish trimming the bumper
During the bumper and mud guard removal i broke alot of those plastic push rivets.

there should be a 'L' shaped braket that gets bolted into the hole, and then on top of the intake manifold. It serves as a support.
