Where is everyone buying this FMIC from? I have heard it goes for $300 shipped, I don't feel like going through 150+pages to find a link.

Does anyone know if you can buy individual pieces of the IC piping? I've had the SSAC kit for well over a year and it's great. I welded an HKS flange to the pipe in place of the TurboXS flange and now want to go back to my stock BPV to see if it will solve my boost problems.

I sent an email to them earlier this week but no response yet. Just thought I'd ask if anyone else had bought replacement piping. Checked a few places online and couldn't find it.

I know you can order the IC core itself and the piping set itself, but I don't think you can order individual pipes.

Ok. Right now I need some convincing from you guys that post here regularly and from people who actually have it installed and have/haven't seen gains in power. Pros/Cons, quality, etc., etc., etc...

I've read probably about 50+ pages, I haven't read them all... I have a 06 STI 300whp/315wtq (TMIC & TBE). I've been doing my research for a while as I'm saving up for a FMIC set-up w/ the VF-39 and the one that has convinced me is the AMR FMIC, only downside is the price $1,499.99 w/out shippin' and w/out tha CAI. As I'm a student I have to save up for a little while but I'm willing to do it because that's the one I've set my sight on...

But then a friend told me about the "ebay one", how it's the same as the Turbo-XS one, how cars have been able to achieve +400whp, and when he told me that the price was only about $350 but it came a little incomplete I was like F it and then he told me to check the post on NASIOC so here I am.

On one side I have one FMIC that comes complete, looks really sexy lol, perfect fitment, inverted flow, guaranteed power but I have to save a lot for it and it will leave me a hole in my pocket. On teh other side I have one that comes a little incomplete, looks ok, cost a fifth of what the other kit cost, about the power I'm still not sure but surely I'll have some pocket change left .

So anyone that can help me in my indecision welcome. I'll be very grateful. Thanks!!!

Well I have had a few of these Kits, and the quality is nice. I mean for 300 Shipped for this kit, you cant go wrong man. Of course any FMIC Kit u gotta cut the bumper, but that was the hardest part for me. Everything else went smooth.
I mean comes with everything needed besides a Intake, and the Throttle Body Reducer, and BPV Adapter.

So follow these links man and you will be spending under 400 for this whole kit to work 100%.

Throttle Body Reducer

http://www.siliconeintakes.com/produ...b8cc2c5727fbe5

Bypass Valve Adapter

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/WRX-T...mZ380078522109

Bypass Valve Hose
http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pro...asp?RecId=2100

Everything else is good to go from there. I just suggest any different Short Ram Intake besides the one that comes with this kit.

I love this kit, perfect affordable, and you just cant go wrong.

Nice looking car dude . About the bumper, I'm really not worried about that. I have one questions though: Did you have any problems w/ the wiper reservoir tank? Because I think in page 25 someone installed it in a 2006 STI and he removed that bottle and I definitely wouldn't like to do that...If I buy this kit, I'll probably buy the P&L intake. Any suggestions on that?

BTW, if it doesn't bother you, could you post your set up and how much whp & wtq you put down?

Thanks

I took my washer bottle out, but i Didnt need too. I have since then reinstalled it. But you can keep it.

As for WHP and WTQ numbers I am not Tuned yet, do to lacking a few more things I need to finish before a Tune.

But there is plenty of folks puttin down good numbers with this Kit.

Check out Proven Power Bragging sections, and search for SSAC FMIC, and you will see what numbers people are puttin down with this kit.
