All i bought to adapt the intecooler to the turbo was a 2.5" 90* elbow, 2.5" S.S joiner, and a 2.5" -> 2" reducer. Oh, and some t-clamps....

the rest was for the intake setup....
which is going to be sweet might i add...
hopefully there is no turbulence...

so im assuming the perrin inlet tube and perrin bigmaf intake will fit well with this "replica"

Im assuming the piping should be fine for an FPred...

thoughts?

Perrin inlet, yes
Perrin BigMAF should fit no problem, it's same configuration as mine, and piping fits stock location turbos including your FP red

The size you need is a 2.75" to 2.5" reducer. Also, you don't have to read the whole thread to find this out. WRX ERROR made an FAQ on the first page which will answer lots of your questions. Enjoy!

Im looking to Buy this FMIC and i have briefly read both threads on the Ebay FMIC and TMIC, Seems to me that the TMIC has alot of fitment issues plus for the price i rather go all out with the FMIC. Personally im upgrading to a 18G + supporting mods to my 2.0 WRX.

Go for it! You'll like the FMIC, and your wallet will really like it.

My SSAC TMIC has zero fitment issues. Fit like a glove and has been great... I just bought a 20g, so I'm prob going to buy this fmic

That's true. My APS TMIC was "one of the best" and it rubbed the AC line, required trimming the rubber shroud, and was a chore to get lined up on the brackets.
