it should be in a little box with the crank case tubing and the maf housing.

getting ready to install it on my 06. but i searched the entire box and nothing. no overflow tank. i do have the new maf sensor though. but i saw some pics and some people did not have a new overflow but the stock one in it. just wondering why some have a overflow and some dont.

or if you search here it shows no new overlfow tank

or this one does have one either

The stock overflow does not fit with this kit. the hot charge pipe routes right were the stock overflow was. Thus, the kit comes with a smaller, black overflow, in which it sounds like you do not have. The new overflow mounts to the right of the radiator down, kinda next to the battery. None of the pics you posted had the stock overflow installed. I have yet to see one with the stock overflow installed, as I don't think it can be done. Your best bet, is to contact the company and see if they will mail you one. (good luck)

I found a FMIC for about $350 or so shipped.

Here's my question; there are 2 models available to choose from. Why is the one that is smaller (24"x9"x3") more expensive than a bigger one (24"x12"x3"). Also which one would you recommend? Right now i'm on stock turbo and eventually i plan to go bigger.

Is there any way to get this kit with red pipe connectors instead of blue, or would I have to order them separately from somewhere else?

Yeah, my bad. I'm pretty sure they're the same thing though and probably by the same manufacturer too.

Yes, it will fit. You can either weld it to the IC piping or use a hose. If you refer to the first page on this thread, you'll see a picture of the hose.

The flange on the IC Piping is for a Type H BOV, you'll need a piece hose, to attach the WBR adapter to the IC piping. Read a few pages of this thread and you'll see in detail what I'm talking about.

SSAC (ebay FMIC) FAQ:

Q:Who makes this kit?
A:The kit is made my XS Power and sold by them ans SSAutoChrome on ebay.

Q:Where can I buy this kit?
A:You can purchase the kit from www.SSAutoChrome.com or from their Ebay Store.

Q:How much is the kit?
A:As of July 31, 2006 the kit can be purchased from www.SSAutoChrome.com for $379.00 shipped but some have gotten it off ebay for $350.00 shipped.

Q:What else do I need to purchase?
A:
1) If you plan to use the stock BPV you need a WBR Bov Adapter (aqka:TurboXS BOV Adapter flange)

2) Any type of cone filter. Pepboys sell a universal K&N cone filter but any 3inch outlet cone filter should work.

3) A 2.5"-2.75" silicone REDUCER. Search ebay.

4) A 1 1/4inch 90deg elbow hose to attach your stock BPV to the FMIC piping.

5) Some of the newer kits seem to have a problem with the 90deg elbow that attaches to the turbo so one might need to be purchased. Your best bet it to try the elbow on your turbo before trying to install everything. The elbow should be 2inch to 2.5inch 90deg elbow.

Q:Will my Intake work with this FMIC?
A:It's been confirmed the Perrin shortram fits correctly. Most shortram intakes "should" fit but any CAI is out of the question since the piping uses the same hole in the fender well as the CAI do.

Q:This is a direct bolton kit?
A:Like most stuff even bolton kits require minor modifications. This kit will require you to cut your bumper to fit the IC behind it. You will also need to put on a new coolent overflow (provided in the kit). Some I have heared needed to lower their fuel filter a bit to get the kit in.

Q:Where is the install manual?
A:Intallation Manual

Q:Will this fit the bugeyes without having to take out the foglights?
A:Yes. You can retain your foglamps with this kit.

Q: Does the kit say XS Power on it?
A:Not anymore. The kits in the beginning cam with "XS Power" spray painted on the IC but SSAC has stopped doing that.

Q:How are the other ebay FMIC kits?
A:This thread is NOT about them. This thread deals with the SSAC FMIC only. If you want feel free to start a new thread for the other kits.

Q:How can I stop my couplers from popping off a high boost?
A:Matth3w came up with a good idea.

================================================== =================================
END FAQ
================================================== =================================

It's a shame this thread was closed so quickly with any regards to the valued information inside it. I think it was poorly handled and thats all I'm going to say about that.
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ight=ebay+FMIC

Now since these are back for sale on ebay I thought it would be good to keep the thread alive for new people. Does anyone know if the new kits come with the reducer or do you still need to pick one up?

I'm planning to pick one up at the end of Jan so any further information would be great.

Because it needs to be on this page evidently.
