Are you kidding? This whole tread is about the SSAC FMIC.

actually i've read most of it, and theres a few mentioned (SSAC, XS Power, Fatboygarage or something like that), and i was asking about the kit on ebay for $200, NOT the ssac kit. the $199 kit has been popping up everywhere on ebay now, and i figured i'd ask about feedback on that particular unit.

for your first comment, so what you're saying is, if you're running an atmospheric BOV, you can swap the piping side for side (still keeping foglights) and everything bolts up? (i ask because i'll be running a 50mm Tial on my 3" inlet 20g, and would rather have the IC piping routed in a way that doesnt involve my cold side piping being directly above the turbo. granted, the pipes will be wrapped, and the turbo's blanketed AND heatshield'ed, but from a design standpoint, it just isnt kosher.

If you have all that heat shielding, do you want to add two extra 90 degree bends?

I only have wrap on my cold side. I can touch a spot where it isn't wrapped and it only gets warm. I would recommend this setup.

SSAC is the XS Power FMIC. SSAC just is a retailer. Not sure if they add anything more to the kit over the XS Power one or not. Best bet is to email XS Power and ask what comes with the kit.

The only pipes that are changes are the top pipes.

Here is the thread by Bolster who did it.

The HKS SSQV will fit fine IF you purchase the mounting adapter and recirc fitting.

I'm not fond of my HKS SSQV and will be replacing with a Tial soon. APS isn't any better. If you not pushing more than 20psi, I'd suggest staying with the stocker.

i get retuned for the fmic tomorrow. the best advise i can give all of you is DO NOT RUN THE KITS SHORT RAM. use the cobbs intake. the one the kit came with gave my tuner all sorts of headaches, as well as my wallets. other than that she holds up well.

Details on your air filter setup. Can we get a full under hood shot?

+1

looks good man

where'd ya get the bracket to let the license plate swivel? (i just recieved confirmation that my FMIC ships out monday, won the bid ($295) last night. already found a BOV adapter, and aside from that, i think all that's left is the 2.75->2.5" silicone reducer (comes with enough t-bolt clamps....right? or should i order a few more? # of clamps looks ok from the pic, but its hard to guess size)
