Default Shift boot fitting on an automatic??

I have a 2005 2.5RS Automatic. I want to change it to make it look like a manual. My friend did that with his Integra..he has an automatic and made it look like a manual with a shift boot and other accessories, I'm wanting to know if I can do the same thing, and what would I need to do it..

Very easy,
1, drive in 4 (15mm in length) screws at 4 corners and leave about 5mm out ( not all the way in)
2, boot of your choice and use 4 scew head as mounting point.
3, get a Momo-subaru automatic shift knob ( round, about ?$70)
4, tie the thread of the boot--done

I don't recommend passing your car off as a stick, you'll get flamed for sure. There's nothing wrong with having an auto.

People have done that on here before.

You just have to get a MT interior trim piece, shift boot, and shift knob. The knob will thread right on and then you just have to attach the boot to the trim piece.

I was thinking about doing it with my old 4EAT since you dont have to push a button down on the shifter to move it.

Can I just get the trim and the boot and use my original knob? Or do I have to get an aftermarket one?
Also When you say drive in 4 screws, I have to make holes?? If i do is there anyway where I can just get a kit and be done?

Where can I get all this that i need? The trim especially

I think if you get the OEM MT trim & boot, you won't have to drive any screws, just replace your AT trim. The "drive in 4 screws" was for doing it without getting the MT trim.

OEM parts come from your local dealer's parts department or (often cheaper) from online discount dealers like 1stsubaruparts.com, allsubaru.com, etc. Remember that for online dealers located in your state, even UPS ground shipping will get it to you the next day, but you will be paying sales tax along with the shipping charges.
