Default do 15: wheels clear stock rs brakes? edit: older oem legacy wheels, pic

i'm assuming they do. i was planing on buying some nice winter tires for my stock 16s but i dont have the money to do that, i do however have a set of studded cooper weathermasters i bought for my audi and never ended up using, on 15s. i would need to pick up a set of 15" steelies or some other 15" used subie wheels. confirming 15s will clear? and anybody got a set of 15s for sale?

I'd assume so. My '02 Forester L ran 15" steel rims.

Yes they do. You have to use 16" wheels if you go to WRX front rotors but not with the 10.7" RS rotors.

how bout a set of older oem suby wheels instead of ugly steelies? do these older style 15x6 5x100 wheels fit an 02+ impreza? clearing stock 05 rs brakes? i would assume so.

Question

I'd also like to know if 15" wheels will fit my 03' WRX. I have a set of 15" blizzacks, but my wheels are 17" and I don't want to spend an arm and a leg on wheels for them.

i think it was determined that 15" wheels will not clear wrx brakes, they are larger than the RS brakes (that i have)... not sure about 02/03s if they have diff brakes than 04/05
