Question Aftermarket Lugs?

Iím looking into buying new lug nuts for my car. I have a set of BBSs off a 04 STI.
Does anyone know of an aftermarket lug with the correct pitch? Pitch maybe the wrong term. Iím looking for the correct seating on the rim. Whether or not the lug is shaped of flat where it touches the rim? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Iíve read using the wrong lug can damage your rim.
Every where I look just tells me to compare to the stock lug but I donít have one.
Thanks, Travis
Any thoughts on tire sizes for the same rims? 225/45/17 or 235/40/17

I bought a set of McGard spline drive lugs/wheel locks for my Prodrive P1's from SubyDude. He may be able to confirm that they'll work with the BBS' for you.

Travis,

Sounds like you did the same swap with wheels. Stock BBS's? You can use the same lugs that came with your car.

The McGaurds work with the stock BBS. They are excellent and do not scracth the rim at all.

1. + again for the McGuard Spline Drives.
2. Both of the tire sizes you mention will work, depending on your drop, and specific tire choice (as all 225/235's aren't created equal).

The McGuards have a spinning seat where it meets the wheel and will not damage your wheel or its finish.

I bought a set of Motegi Spline drives off e-bay. About $30.00 shipped to my door. However if you want the best get the McGuards, you pay around $80.00 but they have a lifetime garuntee on the finish.
