Default 06 STI Please vote only 2 minutes of your time.

Edit: upon further analysis I am ditching the OZs (fragile and not too clean of a design) and adding Prodrive PFF7 and Work Emotions to the poll, please follow this link to cast your vote:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=911649

On your vote not only consider looks but also strength -> Mid-West roads, not planning autoX but still concerned about pot-holes and uneven roads.
The Enkei looks beefier and is 0.6 lbs lighter.

More data:
OZ = 18.4 lbs $299
Enkei = 17.8 lbs $289

Enkei RS+M only available in Silver
OZ Ultraleggy I would only consider Matte Graphite Silve aka Antracite (see pics)

Also, I am thinking about getting a winter 215/45 on 18 inch to offset the fact I am getting an 18 knowing I should get a 17 for winter. Your thoughts?

Gracias Amigos por su ayuda !!

O.Z.'s all day. I also live in the midwest and had a set of Superleggeras that stood up to any pothole. O.Z. definitely has a lot more racing heritage. See any Subaru rally cars on Enkei's? Didn't think so.

I would disagree about the OZ's. 3 of mine Sl's are bent from small potholes.

It's a toss-up for me, but since tirerack doesn't have any tires I like I'd get the Enkeis.

fwiw, edgeracing.com has enkei rp02's in 17x7.5 for only 95 bux per...i think they look not too bad, and if ur gonna use em for winter, theyre damn decent, plus edgeracing is having a huge sale on tires as well, so u could get the winter rubber there and mounted for free. just an idea* if i needed winters that would be my first bet.

this is true great prices on their Enkei's, unfortunately RP02 are not the right offset, I am looking for minimum +48 but thanks anyway for the link.

Go to the Tirerack website now...checked yesterday and the OZ's are discounted...would have bought them instead on my Kosei's if they were this price in August...and they are beautiful wheels!

Those on sale are the Superleggeras not the Ultralegerras, Superlegerras have the wrong offset +45, mimimum should be +48 -if you are concerned about bearing expectancy.

Whoops...it was the Super in blue highlight not the Ultras.

Anywho...17x8's for $239 each is a deal and they would look tough with your paint color. Go O.Z. my friend!

Fine...get 18's...I am sure the roads in "Motown" Michigan are virtually pothole free...just think of how much faster you will be from point A to point B with that extra inch of bling!

Enjoy your fantasy, bro'!

1.
Stock RE070 sidewall stiffness -> 90W
New 18 tires -> 92W

2.
The overall diameter of the tire/wheel will be slighly less than stock

So bro a little time a research can help you find a happy medium and not compromise on performance just by swicthing to an 18.
Also, I will save 8lbs per wheel/tire over stock, less rotational inertia, so actually yes, most lkely the car will be feel faster
