Default Hella Supertone Install Question

I just installed some supertones on my car and i had a question:

Each of the 2 stock horns has a wire that connects it.

When using the relay supplied by Hella, there is only Tab where you use the stock horn plug

Did you make a wire connecting the 2 stock horn wires into the one tab on the hella relay? Or did you just connect one of the stock horn wires to the tab on the hella relay and just not use the other?

I used just one of the stock horn wires, both of the horns chirp when i use my keyless entry (i can feel them vibrate) but they dont seem all that loud on the road... Definitely not "7 times louder than stock"

Anyone have any input?

Also for the record i used 12 awg wire throughout.

Well they are directional horns so they will not seem louder in the cabin. Try to make your panic go off and stand in front of the car, see how loud they are from that position. Or have some else honk them.

Yep, if ya have someone else honk 'em you may wanna get close to the grill, maybe even open the hood and lean in like you're checking oil. They are'nt that loud.

You only need 1 of the stock horn wires connected to the relay. The other can be left dangling or you can leave one of the horns plugged in and have 3 horns.

Psy, yea i mean all that wire has to do is send the signal to the hella relay that the horns need to fire, i cant see needing both. I think i may just tape it off for now...

So... i did the panic thing... christ... what huh hello? i cant hear you.

8 gauge is a bit ridiculous, i was having all sorts of complications using 12 gauge (stupid radio shack was out and it was the only time i had to do the install)
