Nice. Its too bad your all the way in Texas. How much are you looking at getting for it? What kind of gas millage do you see with it?

also, on your ebay listing, on the engine bay pics, you listed the same pic 4 times. I just changed the last number in the url so I could see all them.

Even though I'm in Texas this car may sell for not much more than a JDM front clip! And this wouldn't be any more to ship. I have no idea on the gas milage. It's not good though for safety the car runs quite rich all the time. Thanks for noticing the lising error I'll get a note posted up soon. I got a million emails to sort through already about the car!!!

~~~~~~~~MY TAKE ON THE CAR~~~~~~~~~
VID OF IT RUNNING HERE (right click save as)
I drove the car last night, wonderful drive. I realy apreciate the chance to drive it. When i started it up it cranked like twice and fired right up. The clutch holds realy well and isnt too stiff at all. Starting from a complete stop was suprisingly easy for the stiff clutch on it. driving it on the street was a dream, the power was very smooth. If i was asked to drive this car a distance i wouldnt hesatate a tiny bit. as for the ride quality, it was rather nice concedering the fabed setup on it. braking was nice. road noise isnt a terable thing ..... and who couldnt love that BOV goin off twice. The exhaust is nice and mellow and if you crave that loud exhaust note all you have to do is pull it off. there was no exhaust rattle that i noticed at all. seats could be changed and another tint job would be nice as it isnt perfect but does look good for a first time go at tinting. In all honesty. it realy will be a great car after some quality time on the dyno. as for the engine bay, it needs to be cleaned up alot yeah, but it runs great as it is. Sure its not perfect or pretty but it defently is functional.
In conclusion the buyer of this car will be very happy with it. I know that i defently would be if i could afford it (frickin shame i can't)
If you have any questions about it ill be more than willing to give you a honest opinion. just send me a message
Great looking car!
A few questions,
-Is it currently registered and inspected in texas? I see the plate, but not the stickers on the windshield?
-Does it have ac? Being in Dallas during the summer without it... well you live there to so I guess you know.
-In the photos on ebay of the motor the belt looks like it has come off, Im guessing these pictures were taken while it was being built.
No it isn't registered or inspected. In fact that plate is off another impreza so I could drive it around without getting pulled over. I don't really drive it anywhere. I have a 3 inch high flow cat I can sell cheap that should get it to pass emmisions. Also the car is a 1995 which is the last year before obd2 so it can pass with the standalone! The car does not have ac but has most everything you need. I will include the compressor if it goes over $8k. If you redid the piping, it wouldn't be too hard to get back working. The belt was off in the pics but is back on now!
I drove it two days ago
Power-A new tune would unleash it
Handling-Reasonable for a daily driver, some sway bars and stiffer springs would make it autocross ready
Brakes-Will be much better after a bleed job
Overall driving experience, way better than your average Ricer, clean Interior,subtle Exterior
for 9 grand, it'd be worth every penny
Hey guys, I'm the "official" photographer for this project, and just wanted to share some of the pictures I've been tweaking with.
SHAMELESS PLUG
The car is beautiful. I'd hit it. Like a 3 year old.
I tried to give this a Top Gear-ish effect.
Just to bump this thread on more time,
We really had to do some sneaking around ninja-$hit to get this car shot. We drove it to a construction site, and with the building still under construction, decided to drive the car into it. HOWEVER, there was a steep ledge, and no real way to get the car inside. So we gathered some scrap wood and fashioned a ramp and in it went.
All of the pics and info are on the auction page. There are about 30 very high res pics, interior pics, engine shots, a short movie of the car starting and driving, and even rediculous super ultra high res closeups of the front end you can download for desktop backgrounds...
