Default Install Cusco Front Strut bar on 05 STI?

Hello,

I just acquired an oval type Cusco front strut bar.

I did a search and found a few posts on how to move the A/C line down a step to clear the strut bar. Now with that issue solved, I noticed that the passenger side mount has a bracket secured on two of the bolts holding the suspension which appears to be holding something resembling a horn?

Anybody have some advice please? the strut bar will not fit with that bracket.

Yes it will. It is the alarm horn bracket. Move the bracket to the top. Also my Cusco came with a lowering bracket for the A/C line. I also used some rubber hose over the A/C line for extra protection. Remember only 14ft lbs of torque for the strut bolts. Let me know if you can not see it in this pic, I will snap another for you.

Thanks for the pics! Did you make that 90degree bracket on the passenger side holding the alarm horn? or is that the stock piece?

Both came with the bar but you can easily duplicate them. Or, just relocate the horn.

WShade, my strut bar didnt come with the bracket. Probably has to do with me ordering it directly from Japan. I can make that bracket, no prob. Thanks again!
