Default fading anodized lug nut question for you guys...

i recently purchased a set of red anodized zenki lug nuts.

within 2 weeks of them being on the car, they were pink.

the vendor is offering a credit towards a different brand as he has been swamped with this brand fading.

he offers rays lugs, but says they will still fade over time. what time span am i looking at here? within months? i have gunmetal wheels, and LOVE the look of the red lugs against the gunmetal, but if they are going to fade im not spending an extra 80 to get something thats gonna do the same these cheepies did.

any help guys?

this is utterly annoying. the vendor refuses to give me a full refund as they are not "defective."

how, i ask you, are they not defective? he has admited there is a problem with them, and that he is giving all his zenki customers credit towards another brand's lugs.

he just doesnt want to lose business, and i understand that, but its not my fault he has offered a craptastic product w/o informing anyone of the issue.

is there any way i can get a full refund out of this guy? its the first time ive had to deal with an online vendor trying to screw me over.

by the way, the vendor is www.heeltoeauto.com

Yeah, they fade a bit. My black ones are sort of a charcoal bronze. The stock chrome lugs on my stock wheels are kind of dinged up and the chrome is coming of in a couple of spots. I think I'll go sue Subaru.

woah woah woah!! marcus (owner of heel toe) has never tried to screw any one over! he is an awesome guy and very honest. You're lucky that he is giving you credit for another set of lugs...honestly, the lugs are not defective. Cuase if that were the case, every set of anodized lug nuts will be "defective" because they all FADE!

ok... maybe to me it just seems he is being underhanded since i dont have any previous knowlege of anodized lugs... i dunno.

i just always have fealt that "the customer is always right" and what-not. if a customer is not satisfied with a product within 2 weeks, there is a problem with the product.

he said he has had an overwheling negative response from customers regarding the anodized zenkis, so eh.

im going to see about getting some titanium ones i guess.

dont waste your $$ on Ti lugs. i will bet money that they will seize on your studs within a year or so. faster in rain/snowy areas.
