Default look at my vision of a morette setup...

...and tell me what you think

go with morettes and Raybrigs Type 100 HID

http://members.i-club.com/ViewMember...90&PicNumber=4

or go with another set of lights (halogen) & HID

http://members.i-club.com/ViewMember...90&PicNumber=5

Hopefully the morettes can hold my 9007 HID conversion kit...then I would put the PIAA Extreme bulb for my High Beam!

Thanks,

CRAZY KEN

P>S> As you all can tell I am quite serious about this!!! (i.e. a lot of post about lighting )

Default OKAY THEN...

answer this:

Can the morette conversion house my 9007 HID conversion kit that I have on NOW and what bulb size is used for the high beam. Where can I get a set? How much are we talking here? Who makes the original or knock offs (i.e. avoid!!!)?

Thanks,

CRAZY KEN

Hey Ken

How about getting a set of high wattage lights and mount them in your grille area. You should have plenty of room now that you removed the stock plate.

How much of a benefit are the rectangular bulbs in the lower center peice of your bumper? IMO they would look better mounted to the outside of your round fog bulbs in the stock fog light pod. Do a cut and paste of that and see what comes out.

Otherwise I really like the look of painted morrettes on a Legacy like ours. However if you can't use your HID setup I wouldn't go for it.

Morettes i believe are H1 and H7 bulbs...the 9007 will not fit....u can possibly mod it but may ruin the seal of the Morettes...

I don't know about Legacies, but the Morettes on Imprezas are H4s on the outside and H2s inboard. There are other kits that look similar with H7s all around. Are your lights really Morettes or some other maker? I've not tinkered with my lights much; I'm perfectly happy with the pattern of the H4s and the H2s give me all the extra light I need when driving on dark roads at night. Eventually I might run a relay and some stronger wiring and put something bigger in the H4s.
