Default EcuTek Dash Display

http://www.ecutek.com/products/dashdisplay/

With this, does this means we can almost eliminate the gauges and a seperate EM?

Because if I would to get an AccessPORT, it will cost me like $600 unless someone is kind enough to sell their unmarried for cheap. Then if I get gauges, it will cost me an additional $200-300, making a total of $1000.

However, someone at IWSTi forum posted that he made someting like that for $742 and can measure a lootttt of stuffs.

What do you guys think?

Yeah, but that think is like $700 all by itself. Harder to read at a glance than gauges, and more expensive.

doesn't read EGT unless from ECU (which your's won't). Also, the ECU only reads to 18.3 psi for boost.

I have the PSi3 unit which is basically what this is. I love it.
But you need to buy the sensors for the egt,oil pressure.
Got it used for 300.

You cannot hook up an external EGT probe at this time. Only oil pressure, oil temp and Boost. EcuTeK is looking intom making an external EGT sensor available this year.

That will not provide any engine management, it just does Display. If you have an EcuTek flashed ECU it will do the map switch, rather than the gas pedal/defroster button.

Most of the newer ECUs won't support map switching from either of the above methods.

Map switching available only for 02-03 models. I love mine . Being able to adjust boost, timing, WGDCyles, etc through the user tuning mode and map switching is awesome, especially when running race gas. Not to mention h20 inj control, shift light setup etc.
