Post RA or SA ?

Well i have just bought a WRX 1994 and it is an SA model, i know RA means Rally Adjusted or something like that but dont know what SA means and why?
any help would be great, its also an auto and in the UK.

According to this page, it's a MY94 car with an automatic transmission fitted after production. No clue as to why it's called an SA model. I believe the RA stands for "Race Altered."
