Exclamation wiring question / ecu code question

Hey guys, is anyone running an SAFC and a PLX R-500 at the same time? I figure that i'll run the SAFC for tuning and the R-500 for wideband/knock/datalogging. Does anyone know if this is possible, or do they utilize some of the same wires at the ecu? Thanks. Also, I keep getting code 1131 which is the front o2....I think, could I be getting this from a lean condition?
Thanks in advance,
james

Using the SAFC is the wrong tool for managing fuel on the WRX....

Well, that figures......just my luck. I'm only running sti pinks and a walbro 255 so I was assured by a local shop that I would be ok. (due to the injector size being under 680)

Using the SAFC messes with the MAF signal, so you are affecting more than fuel. Unlike on an NA car, where the MAF and fueling are directly related, on the WRX boost also is affected as well.

Be very careful when tuning using this utility, and watch your AFRs VERY cloesly.

The worst part is that this is all I have to work with. Oh well, if it goes kaboom, I smell a fully built ej with blowzilla tucked neatly in the engine bay . I'm hoping the plx will be as awesome as it's talked up to be ( being a wideband A/F device with knock reading capabilities and datalog). I couldn't afford utec, and I already had the SAFC from my DSM. Thank you for the heads up with the MAF, this is the first solid answer i've received. I've had a few people tell me not to use it, but when asked why they couldn't drum up a legit answer. At least now I have a starting point for some research.
