the v5 wing is more straight up. the v6 tilts back a bit.

we have a set of original gunmetal jdm v6 wheels on the uphill time attack car. quite sexxy. if u can find a set, dont let them go.

Are those v6 wheels? I didn't realize those lasted beyond v5. I've got 2 USDM '98-99 RS sets, one gold and one silver...

Do 2.5rs's have use for the stock wrx r160 rear end? I just swapped in a r180 full rear end and have the stock diff, axles, hubs, brakes, ebrake lines, abs lines all complete...

Yes. If they want a LSD R160, or if L owners want to do a rear disc brake conversion.

a 2.5rs has no use for the rear end parts off a WRX sedan. the hubs are identical, so are the brakes. the axels are a little too long but work just fine (they are lsd). the rear diff is a 3.54 on a 5mt so its useless unless you want to pillage it for the LSD unit, the automatic is a 4.11 so then its useful for a 2.5RS that has a 4.11 and needs a LSD.

somone with a L or TS could use your hubs and brakes for a disc brake conversion

dump this stuff on the classifieds, or perhaps poke around the conversions forum to see who's doing a FWD-> AWD rear end conversion. please dont start a thread for sale in the conversions forum though, the mod's will hate on you for trying to hook a brotha up. they really should start a converstion forum classifieds - as you and subydude would really benefit from it.

the GDA rear X member can be used plug and play, but they'll have to convert to dog bone style with short diff studs.

the arms cant be used unless they are wagon, or want to have crazy rear camber.

axels are a smidgen too long, but will work dandy.

Continuing the OT drivel...I may need one of those rear ends. I think I am buying a '95 tonight. I will keep you guys in mind when I look at the rear disc conversion, though I can generally get those parts uber cheap at my local pick and pull...

yeah. so perhaps change that title to V5.

i think the V5 wing looks better, but perhaps bc im biased
its more boxy. 6 is more swoopy back tilted.

regardless, if its genuine FHI you'll be the only other person i know with one. they are rare, and $$$$ - literally a 4 digit wing.
