Question OT: Is there a such thing as a Firearms Blue book?

Ok, since my grandfather passed away my granny has a room filled with various guns and riffles. We have no idea what they even are. Is there a site or an actual book that can look up the values up in for free? I found a couple of sites, but they all want to charge.

Thanks, Lori

sorry to hear about your loss. most gun shops buy and sell used guns and will give you a decent price depending on where you go

My brother had one that we were looking at over Xmas. I can't remember the name of the book, but it pretty much had every single rifle and pistol made in the last 100 years plus. I WANT a broom handled Mauser.

well, Granny is getting one of Jim's hunting buddies to come over and unload all of his guns (loaded guns are bad.. we know) and I'm going to make an inventory of everything and go from there. She's still kinda scattered brained over everything, so I'm not sure when this will go down. I appreciate everyones help.

just remember that most pricing info is subject to a lot of things...

as with any collectible, pricing can fluctuate all over the place... what's popular in one area might not be in another, prices can fall off or take off without notice (faster than guides can keep up with them), so do a lot of research and remember things are only worth what somebody will pay you for them...
