Default Forester XT/Legacy GT ECU in BAJA

Thinking about getting a Baja, but don't like not being able to use something like an Accessport. Swap ECU with Legacy or Forester?

Why not an STI? Many FXT owners swap the STI ECU and turbo for an easy upgrade.

ECU swapping is going to be a problem with 05/06 cars since they have immobilizers.
