Default SSR GT2 fitment question

Any experience with a SSR GT2 17x8.5 ET 35 on a 05 STi? Offset seems too low...

Skinny tire for an 8.5" width rim. Something more like a 245 35 or 255 35 would be a lot better, but may cause rubbing issues.

yeah i know 225 is kinda whimpy. i know i can get my fenders rolled and get some clearence, but im worried about rubbing on the inside. when i had coilovers on, i would rub inside on hard turns. i dont want to use spacers either. thats kinda ghetto... imo. i was running 225/45/17's on rotas then.

225/40-18 Rim Width Range...... 7.50 to 9.00

so, you will not see any rubbing

Maybe it's just the angle of the picture, but those look like they stick out past the fender. What offset?

nope, pretty flush, 48 offset like most other 8.5" wheels on Subys
