Will and ECUTek reflash be able to take care of the codesassociated with a TBE such as P0420?
The reason I ask is mycar has been running a TBE and upipe for a long time now. But recentl it's started throwing the P0420 cells and it's starting to get annoying. I was planning on holding out until the spring for EM but now I might just want to get it over with if it will also take care of the CELs.

If you're willing to invest a little bit of brain effort and $70 for a cable, you can use the hardwre from OpenECU.org to read your ECU, modify the map to remove the P0420, and reflash it... that's the route I've gone, and it works perfectly.
If you'd rather go with an off-the-shelf commercial solution, the Cobb or ECUtek reflashes should both be able to disable the P0420. |
