Default Changing out EM from different cars

This is a noob question, but I will try it here. My friend got into an accident last week and he parted out his car. So I ended up getting his greddy turbo, Injen down pipe and Ecutek. Now I have the exact same setup that he had in his car, Up and down pipe, sti pinks FMIC and full exhaust. My car runs great now with nothing major that I can see or feel. Im not a tuner and Im more into the plug and just go kind of EM. I had a Utech before and it was a little much for me. My question is should I hurry and get the Ecutek reflashed or since I now have the exact mods that he had in his car, will I be ok until I can get some money to tune it. The only difference was brand name stuff on the FMIC and exhaust. He had Greddy, I have INjen FMIC and Espiler exhaust. Thanks

The main problem is you never know what kind of problems the tune was working around. For instance, the high load sites in the fuel map is skewed to the lean side because of a charge pipe leak or something. Or you may have a crack in your turbine and shouldn't run as much boost, the minimum WG duty cycle map may make your car spike if it was agressive on another car, etc.

In the right circumstance, I might say yes, but its one of those "if you have to ask, the answer is no" kinda things.
