Default Dirt cheap O'Neil classes

Hey all,

Got this from O'Neil's and I thought I would pass it along. I took this class last year and it was a total blast with an amazing amount of seat time. Sorry for the all caps but that's the way I received it and I'm too lazy to fix it.

2 day NASIOC winter driving school, 3rd weekend Feb, check teamoneil.com for exact dates.

$600 for 2 days spanking your own car around the school skidpad, slalom course and real rally roads. lots o seat time, high instructor/student ratio, nice poofy forgiving snowbanks to cushion your experiments with the limits of grip.

2-day school currently needs a couple more ppl to sign up to secure the date--hint, hint.

Errr, it depends. When we were up there last weekend it was right after lots of fresh snow so the banks were soft. I'm sure you noticed I bounced my STi off of a few of them with no issues.

Its warming up in NH right now and when it gets close to freezing (its actually above freezing in Dalton today) those snow banks melt a little and then turn into ice. At that point they become quite the hazzard.

Don't get me wrong, the 2 day class is an awesome deal. I did it last year, learned a lot and had a blast. Just don't want anyone to turn out and be surprised if they eat a snow bank and lose body panels. Had a student in an STi get banged up pretty bad during the 2 day class last year during a minor off. A lot of the front end went home in the trunk.

Of course that's the good thing about the rally school. You are Driving O'Neil's cars.

OK, how about this--

O'Neil's class with nice poofy snowbanks will be a test of your car-control skills and finding (exceeding) limits of grip

Team O classes with frozen snowbanks are a test of..car-control skills, finding limits of grip AND having the judgement not to exceed said limits.

Kind of like life in the real world?!

What do they teach in the 6 day rally school? I took the 4 day school last year so I'm curious what else they are teaching.

How do I sign up for the 2 day NASIOC school?

RB5: Sounds perfect.

leeden: There is no 6 day rally school, only 4 day. The 6 day schools are "Security Schools" which are usually mil and black ops types learning to drive a Hummer while O'Neil is crashing into your back end.

To sign up for the 2 day class, PM moodyracing or post to this thread:

Interested, but I don't have the prerequisite class. Any chance that I can still sign up?
