Talking Autocross compilation/experiment in editing *33mb/5min

I made this, along with three other videos, for our local region's banquet. I'd like to hear what you guys have to say about it. I thought it came out rather well.

Nice job. I enjoyed how the video was edited with the small footage within the large.

Wow, that is some of the best editing I have seen in a video recently. Thanks for sharing it.

great video, great editing!!! how much does the editing program you mentioned cost? (editing movies is a hobby of mine as well and i want to make car vids i just dont have footage lol).

on another note, that autox course that the yellow car with black flames was racing through (at the end) looked like a lotta fun... wish i could have tried that one out

Nice job! While watching this I was thinking this would be cool to show some of my friends and family what it is I do all summer. The thing is this video makes it seem so much fun and then I think about reality being the 8-9 long hours in the sun just to run 6 minutes.......lol.........but so worth it.

Very true. But I also love working the course. The sunburn, well, I could do without it.

I like it. Very good choice of music too. How long did it take you to edit all of those vids?

That one wasn't really all that time consuming, but I kind of went into it with an idea of what I wanted. By "not that time consuming," I mean like 5+ hours, which isn't that bad compared to the monthly videos I put out, which usually have about 50 cars and 15 minutes of final product.

As for the sport of autocross, it is definitely well worth it. The social aspect plays a huge part for me, since everyone else there usually has the same love for cars as I have. There's another region that has events near me that only have like 12 or 13 entrants, usually, so they get like 8-10 runs. That'd be nice.

BTW, the Yellow/Purple hood belongs to a n/a Porsche 944. That's the same guy that slams into the wall in the Spec Miata crash video I posted a while back.

Agreed! In addition, that video does make auto-x seem a lot more appealing.
Very good work!
