i knew it had to be airforce. being in the chair force myself i recognized the style. i wonder if we could sneak that into the PFE someplace.
would make for a funny misprint.

I wave and I'm in SoCal.

If the other person waves back, that's another question.

I like the post, except for this.

You don't want it turning into some crazy charlie foxtrot of arbitrary rules, do you?

Nope, its because we live in socal and there are more...punks (for lack of a better word) who mommy and daddy buy them a car that the kid saw on the cover of import tuner or something, these are the kids that look at you like "What are you looking at? want to race?" they get all angery and weird when you wave.
Ps if you see the wagon in Valencia you can be assured I willl be waving first

OMGHi2U he's waving at you....

I haven't gotten any waves back since 1 month after the wrx came out, stopped trying.
As far as the 'superior' cars goes....I think too many out there think they are driving a true WRC car and are Petter

LOL! Excellent!

Now you need to make one about what happens when you see another subaru parked in a parking lot.

I'm always an advocate of parking next to another Subaru no matter how far away they are... especially a fellow STi, if only to keep them from getting door dings from the minivans of the world.

yes, I care THAT much.

If I see them in time I usually give a thumb up. If it's a fellow STi and I'm close enough sometimes I give them an index finger point and a nod...

However, most of the time I don't have time to do either... Traveling close to light speed like I usually do...

I used to wave to other WRX drivers but it seems like the majority either: 1. don't know about the wave thing or 2.) know about the wave thing but don't make the 9-2x = WRX connection or 3.) know about the wave thing and know the 9-2x = WRX thing and are just antisocial.

So I gave up.

I do the same. I also wave at all Subie's. Old school or new. There are so many in Colorado, most don't wave back, but I feel like I'm doing my part to make up for the snobby STI owners.
