Default race school

Are there any Subaru Clubs that rent tracks and provide instructors for 2 day weekend race schools at tracks like VIR, Road Atlanta, Putnam Park, Mid Ohio, Barber Motorsports Park, etc.? My dad has an E46 and last year I attended a race school event at Barber Motorsports park in Birmingham, AL. I had an instructor and I received 6 30 minute track sessions with a coach in my car. Not only was it extremely fun, but it was informational as well. The downside was that I was driving a celica and I was the only 4 banger, the only front whell drive car, and one of the few non German cars there. My subie will be more than competitive for the upcoming schools, but it would be more fun if it was all subies on the track. I am getting ready to register for Putnam Park in Indianapolis for May, but I am curious if there were any Subarus Clubs that did events like this. I signed up for Barber through www.trackschedule.com and a local BMW chapter. Any info would be great.
Thanks in advance.

PCA, BMWCCA etc are able rent large tracks because of the amount of members that track their cars and I would assume that the nation wide club has discounts at tracks as well as large liability policies (the cost of which is spread among all members). That said, you won't find subies clubs renting large tracks, putnam park maybe but not Road A or Barber, at least not for another few years.

That said you have a couple options:

Find a couple folks that are willing to slpit total cost at a small track and then hope you get others on board to make the event cheap.

Find medium sized groups like Seat-Time (Roebling) that tends to have more Subies than your typical german club of america group.

Find a big club (germans, NASA, etc) and sign up for a big track (RoadA, Barber) well in advance. Then post up in your local forum that your headed and would love for other subie folks to sign up and their a bunch of pansies if they don't.

I'll be at Reobling this weekend with PCA and VIR on Feb 18th and 19th. I would really like to get up to Putnam Park in March.

do you remember Ted Dibiase from WWF back in the 80's? He had virgil?

Anyway, Putname Park is in May and it is Mother's Day weekend. I am going to try and do Road Atlanta in July.

I'm not a millionaire either.

It seems like if we had 100 people or so that we could rent a track.
