Outback Sport How popular are Subarus in your area?

Just on the half hour drive in to work this morning (don't know why I noticed and decided to count today) I saw 30 Subarus - something like 4 Imprezas (only one sedan), 13 Legacys/Outbacks (again only one sedan), and 13 Foresters. This was all mostly on the highway where you get very little opportunity to see the opposite side.

Anyone else live in an area where Subarus are so common?

I was in Newport for a few months last year. They had a pretty good number of Subies around. Down here in Pensacola I mostly only see them on base. Plenty of Firebirds and Camaros around, though.

I own 16.6% of the Subarus in the town I live in. I only have one Suby but there are only 6 in town that I know of.

A fair number of older Foresters and Outbacks here, not much else though. I've seen about 4 STIs and 2 FXTs in the last year.

Lots of suarus in my area, mostly imprezas and outbacks but there are quite a few legacys also. I dont see too many foresters.

I live outside Seattle where one out of five cars seems to be a Suby.
It's more like one out of seven or eight.

I would be surprised if the rednecks that reside in my town have ever heard of another car, or truck rather, besides ford or chevy... I am 1 of the 4 subarus that I've seen around my town and I'm proud of it. I get alot of stares and people asking me what kind of car it is.

There are quiet a few Foresters and Outbacks but not many WRXs or Legacy. I have yet to se a Tribeca on the road however there are tons of Tahoes and H2s.

Well, often I won't see any other Subarus for a few days at a time... hell, look at the SE spottings forum and compare it to SCIC... and SE is quite a few states, too!

Watch out - they might try to put you in that big prison for driving a 'foreign car'

Very popular, but I live one town from you in Westford. If you see a Red '05 WRX wagon around town, its probably me.

lets see, between LA and san diego, i dont see too many... sometimes itl only be 1 a day or maybe 2. if i ever do see more than 3 at one time its usually in asian plazas. most of the subarus that i see tend to be STi's or wrx sedans. wrx wagons maybe once or twice a week at most. ive only seen 2 06's ever.

About ten bazilion subbies in AK. I heard someone mention %60 of all cars once. Which is believable.

Makes sense. Don't know about 60 percent of all cars though.

Impreza's, not very many. But I see alot of wagons, don't know what models they all are though. I'd say 80% of the subi's I see are wagons.

Lots of Foresters, Outback wagons & Legacy wagons. I live in the up-scale NW suburbs of Chicago. I don't think that they see themselves as being part of a Suby thing. Not many Impreza's or WRX's though - too low-brow for them. Their kids drive Pathfinders and stuff.
