Default Help me start a Nation wide Car search..

I am now officially enlisting this national (in the US, and in some cases international) group to help me find a friend a car. This friend will stay anonymous for now, even though I bet a few of you can guess who.

We are looking for a vehicle that can be a good everyday driver, but at the same time a good track vehicle when he doesnít want to bring his dedicated car out for just a fun track event. The Budget is around $7K. We are thinking about an E36 or a 240SX, but just about any RWD car that do respectable on a road course, and has trunk and back seat room will be considered. We would prefer that some track prep has already been done because it is cheaper to find a car with it already done than to do it yourself. He also wants to spend that time and money on his track/chow car.

So now I am seeing what people here can find. We donít mind a road trip as long as the deal is worth it. We would prefer closer to NC though. If you can, please post the information or URL in this thread so I can keep them all together.

Thanks for any help.
Marty

Ok, I will make it interesting...

$50 Finders fee if someone posts it here and it leads to the purchase by my friend.

It will need to be an individual ad link or posting, not a whole URL or page.

Well, duh...

BTW, the back seat portion has been eliminated...

So Miata's are fair game.

So with 70K users, shouldn't this thread be larger..it IS $50.
